These new “Game of Thrones” Season 7 images show us that the buddy system is alive and well in Westeros
We’re still a ridiculously long time away from the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 7 (if you’re not keeping track at home, it’s 87 days away, and UGH). But, HBO knows that this wait is long and full of darkness and despair, so happy Thursday, there are now a few brand new images from the upcoming season to hold us over.
AND THEY ARE HELLA INTENSE.
These images give little to nothing away about what’s happening when we return to Westeros, but they do establish just who is hanging out with who. Like, Jaime seems pretty content hanging out next to his sister-queen Cersei on the Iron Throne.
Sansa is still putting Littlefinger in the friend zone (AND DON’T LET HIM OUT OF IT, SANSA).
The couple we’re really rooting for is Tormund and Brienne. Come on. LOOK AT THEM.
The duo we hope survives the night is, of course, Bran and Meera.
And our favorite study buddies are Sam and Gilly. The books look good on them.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the super group of Dany, Tyrion, Missandei, Grey Worm, and Varys. Looking good, friends!
Who knows what kind of trouble everyone’s going to get into this season, but at least they have a buddy by their side! Which will be especially nice, since more than likely one (or all of them) will come face to face with death at some point point this season. Gonna be fun!
