Gabriella Carver named Ashland Elks Teen of Month for May

Gabriella Carver is Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for May. She is the daughter of Tom and Debi Carver and a senior at Ashland High School.

Carver is a member of the National Honor Society, Ashland County Young Life and the High School Mentoring Program. She has earned North Central State College credit through the College Credit Plus program. She is a member of Saint Mary of the Snows Catholic Church.

Carver is a four-year member of the Ashland High School volleyball and basketball teams, where she was a four-year Scholar Athlete and awarded the George Valentine Sportsmanship Award (girls basketball-2023-2024) and the Kaela Allton Memorial Award (volleyball-2023).

Traveling, exercise and babysitting occupy much of her free time.

Attending the University of Indianapolis and majoring in exercise science, with plans of earning a master’s degree in athletic training are Carver’s post-graduation goals.
