Friends of the Euclid Public Library preparing book sale

Apr. 16—The Friends of the Euclid Public Library Spring Book Sale will be held the last weekend in April.

Member Preview night is April 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those interested can join or renew at the door for $5. On April 27, the sale is open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Then, on April 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., is Bag Day. Buy a bag from the Friends for $3 or $5 and fill it with sale material. Only bags bought from the Friends will be allowed in the sale rooms on this day, according to a news release.

Hardcover books are $1; softcover books, DVDs, music CDs, and audiobooks are 50¢ cents; Children and Young Adult books are 25 cents and 50 cents, respectively. Cash and checks will be accepted.

There is a large selection of mysteries, popular fiction, cook books, large print, movies, children's books and

audio books along with other material, the release stated.

Funds from the sale are used to support library programming. The Euclid Public Library is located at 631 E. 222nd St.
