Freeze warning for many Missouri counties until Friday

ST. LOUIS — High pressure rolls in tonight through Friday, calming our winds and bringing a renewed chill in the air tonight. Temperatures will be near or below freezing for areas west of the Mississippi Thursday night into Friday morning. A Freeze Warning will go into effect for our western audience from midnight through 8 a.m. Friday morning.

A bit of a warmup Friday, back into the 50s under a mix of sun and clouds. The 60s and 70s return by the weekend with another chance for rain and storms Sunday into Sunday night.

The Solar Eclipse is Monday, April 8^th, and viewing conditions for the area look marginal to good. A bit of cloud cover but we’ll see how trends unfold through the weekend.
