Fourth channel to open to allow port vessels passage

A fourth temporary channel will open later this week at a depth of 35 feet to allow some of the bigger ships to pass the wreckage of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge, the governor announced Tuesday afternoon. Next, the focus will shift to refloating the Dali cargo ship to eventually move it in order to open the full channel. Four weeks have passed since the cargo ship slammed into the Key Bridge, sending it plummeting into the Patapsco River and leaving six constructions workers dead; officials vow to recover the two men still missing.
