Four suspects attacked Uber driver in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Four people attacked a 45-year-old Uber driver in Brooklyn on Sunday, police said Friday.

The driver was waiting for a passenger on Alabama Avenue in New Lots around 7:20 p.m. Four unidentified suspects approached the vehicle and one of them punched the driver in the face multiple times, according to the NYPD.

The victim exited the vehicle and was struck in the head with a metal scooter, police said.

The suspects were last seen fleeing on foot northbound on Williams Avenue, according to authorities.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on Friday.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, light blue jeans and white sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray or green sweatpants.

The third suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black and white sneakers.

The fourth suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

No property was taken during the attack. The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, according to the NYPD.
