Four charged with alleged retail theft at Walmart

HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) —  State police report that four people were arrested after being accused of retail thefts at a Walmart in Luzerne County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to Walmart in Hazle Township for separate retail theft incidents throughout May.

On May 1 around 4:00 p.m., troopers say they were called for a 24-year-old woman from Hazleton stealing clothing and food from Walmart.

Then on May 9 around 9:00 p.m., state police say two people, a 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman both from Hazleton, allegedly underrang items worth $68.58.

Lastly, on May 10 around 4:30 p.m., PSP was called after a 45-year-old woman from Hazleton did not pay for medical supplies and other items

All four have been charged through the district court.
