Four arrested for alleged retail theft at Walmart
HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report that four people were arrested after being accused of retail thefts at a Walmart in Luzerne County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to Walmart in Hazle Township for separate retail theft incidents throughout May.
On May 1 around 6:20 p.m., troopers responded to a theft where a 29-year-old woman from Hazleton failed to pay for a hat.

The next day on May 2 around 8:00 p.m., state police say a 57-year-old woman from Sugarloaf tried to steal $147.03 worth of food, toys, and medicine. Then almost two hours later the same day troopers say a 60-year-old woman from Freeland stole pet supplies by hiding the items in her purse.
On May 4 around 8:00 p.m., PSP reported a 37-year-old woman from Hazleton failed to pay for various clothing, food, and household items worth $122.56.
All four suspects were charged through the district court.
