Fort Smith water utility drive-thru to close permanently

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fort Smith city officials announced that the Water Utilities drive-thru at 517 Rogers Ave. will permanently close tomorrow, April 19.

Fort Smith residents can pay online, by phone at 479-763-3014, or in person at 623 Garrison Ave. Residents can also send payments to PO Box 1907, Fort Smith, AR 72902 or drop off payments at Dropbox locations such as:

  • 619 North A St.

  • 623 Garrison Ave.

The building has been leased to new tenants, so the drive-thru option will not be “available at this time,” a news release states.
