Fort Pierce Police investigate fatal shooting on North 16th Street

FORT PIERCE — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 27-year-old man dead.

Police about 8:28 p.m. Monday went to the 1200 block of North 16th Street regarding a shooting, police stated. Investigators determined Faustin Isaiah Egalis, 27, sustained gunshot wounds as he sat in a vehicle. Egalis was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was in the vehicle when police arrived.

No other information was immediately available Tuesday.
