Forestry recycling center in Topeka will reopen soon after large mulch fire

TOPEKA (KSNT) — After weeks of being closed, a recycling center will reopen soon.

Garick Topeka Biomass and Yard Materials Recycling Facility announced on its website that it will will reopen Thursday, April 25. This comes after a large mulch fire took place at the facility earlier this month.

According to its website, only bulk mulch and soil products will be available for pickup and delivery. If you have questions about green waste drop-off or any updates about reopening, email the business, CARE@garick.com.
