New food items revealed at Isotopes park ahead of 2024 season
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Tuesday, the Albuquerque Isotopes unveiled their new concession items for the upcoming 2024 season. The new items will be available starting opening night, Friday, March 29.
El Fuego (available at Santa Fe Trail near section 116)
This sandwich features a green chile and cheese bagel with tender beef brisket burnt ends, cooked in a spicy herbed Brazilian barbecue sauce. It’s topped with a layer of green chile mac n’ cheese. It also includes crispy breaded jalapeño strips and pickled red onions.
Vegetarian Fusion Bowl (Noodle Cart near section 108)
A veggie dish with plant-based pork protein, cooked with a blend of hoisin, ginger, soy sauce, and a medley of crispy vegetables served on a bed of rice. The bowl is topped with freshly shredded carrots, chopped cilantro, sliced cucumbers, and fresh jalapeños. Kimchee and pickled onions and a creamy avocado drizzle.
Hawaiian Barbecue Turkey Leg (available at Santa Fe Trail near section 116)
The turkey leg is slow-smoked and generously dipped in a traditional Hawaiian Barbecue sauce made with ketchup, pineapple, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar.
Piggy Burger (available at Batter’s Up near section 108)
It’s a classic burger with a twist of the Isotopes’ previous Tumbleweed Burger. The burger is topped with sticky sweet pork which has been candied with maple syrup and brown sugar. Lettuce, onion, and tomato are also on the burger.
Perico’s (available at Black Angus near section 119 and Perico’s Cart near section 106)
Perico’s will be served at two locations to satisfy customer’s New Mexican palate.
Thundercup Sundaes (available at Banana’s Foster near section 101)
The sundae starts with your choice of six ice cream flavors (cooked & cream, Danish vanilla bean, 4 chocolates chocolate, Skagit strawberry, maple bacon whiskey, and wicked white Russian), layered with chocolate or caramel drizzle. M&M’s, graham cracker crumbs, gummy bears, Oreo cookie crumbs, sprinkles, or whipped cream.
Mister Softee Ice Cream (available at Sweet Spot near section 119)
Vanilla or chocolate soft-serve ice cream served in a sugar cone or cup. Milkshakes with various infusions will also be available.
Carving Station Desserts (available next to the third-floor Club Lounge Bar)
Suite or Club Level ticket holders are able to enjoy a rotating assortment of cakes, pies, and other sweet creations.
