Food, drink lineups announced for New Orleans’ inaugural Brews, Boils & Bubbles festival

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Organizers of the Brews, Boils & Bubbles festival have announced the food and drink lineups for the inaugural event.

The festival is slated to take place on the New Orleans Lakefront and will feature more than 15 boilers and dessert vendors.

According to a news release, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant will cater the VIP Rose and Lobster Lounge and Urban South Brewery will cater the Brews and Bugs Lounge.

Other participating restaurants will include Mr. Shrimp’s Kitchen, Dee’s Xquisite Seafood, Crucial Seafood, Fiery Crab, Crawlins Seafood, The Ya-Ka-Mein Lady, The NOLA Chuck Wagon, Rosemary and Roux, 504 Seafood and more.

According to the event’s website, attendees can expect freshly boiled seafood from local boilers, local beverages, live music, games, photos and more.

Restaurants will also be able to compete for bragging rights in three categories including Best Crawfish, Best Boil and People’s Choice Award.

“The inaugural Brews, Boils & Bubbles will celebrate and showcase the rich culinary talent that resides right here in our state, bringing thousands of people together for great food, music, and a truly unforgettable experience,” said Brews, Boils and Bubbles Executive Producer Cleveland Spears, III.

Organizers said guests can also expect drinks and cocktails from Urban South Brewery, Corona, Veuve Clicquot, Moët, Minuty, D’USSÉ, Grey Goose, Don Julio and Crown Royal.

The 21+ festival is being put on by the producers of the National Fried Chicken Festival presented by Raising Cane’s and will take place on May 11.
