Florida man indicted on sextortion charges in Madison, Jefferson counties

ALABAMA (WHNT) – A U.S. District Court has indicted a Florida man on several charges related to the sexual exploitation of children.

Trevon Lamont Brown, 23, is charged with two counts of sex trafficking, two counts of sexual exploitation of children, two counts of coercion and enticement of a minor, and three counts of cyberstalking.

According to the nine-count indictment, while in Madison County in June of 2023, Brown enticed two individuals by force and coercion to “engage in commercial sex acts.”

The documents also say that between August and November of 2021, Brown engaged in sexually explicit conduct with an underage person in order to produce videos. Then, between December 2020 and March 2021, he coerced another minor to engage in sexual exploitation, the indictment states.

Brown was also charged with cyberstalking, the indictment said, after harassing and intimidating victims on different social apps between December 202 and August 2023.

HSI Birmingham, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Clarksville Police Department in Tennessee, and Ocala Police Department in Florida investigated the case.
