The First Omen confirms Disney+ release next week

The First Omen has confirmed its Disney+ release in the UK – and we don't have too long to wait.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the prequel to The Omen would be released on digital platforms on Tuesday, May 28 in the UK and the US. It would then arrive a couple of days later on Hulu in the US.
Disney has now confirmed that The First Omen will arrive on Disney+ in the UK on the same day, so you'll be able to watch it from Thursday, May 30.
If you're not a Disney+ subscriber and fancy checking out the horror prequel, you can sign up from £4.99 per month for the Disney+ Standard with Ads plan. There are ad-free plans for £7.99 and £10.99 per month as well.
The First Omen centres on Margaret (Nell Tiger Free) who, after she's sent to work at a church in Rome, discovers a hideous conspiracy at play: to instigate the birth of the Antichrist.
Ahead of its cinema release in April, Digital Spy spoke to Free about her first leading movie role which saw her commit to some seriously intense moments.
"Those are the scenes that I'm desperately excited to do, genuinely. Those are the ones that I'm looking forward to the most and they bookmark the movie as well," she explained.

"There's story-driven moments and establishing moments, which are all beautiful. It's all fun to do. But the really core, big pieces, that's when you really get to sink your teeth into it, and have fun with it as well."
"The most intense scene in the film was probably my favourite one to shoot, to be honest."
The First Omen is released on digital platforms in the UK and the US on Tuesday, May 28. It will be available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US from Thursday, May 30.
