Fire at substation causes power outage at Russian military and industrial facilities – HUR

A substation in Russian city Bryansk burned down, causing a blackout at several military and industrial facilities, Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) reported on Telegram on April 16.

As a result of destruction of transformer at 110 kW power substation, following units were left without power supply:

  • military unit No. 33149 (29th separate railway brigade)

  • 111th military plant (machine-building enterprise)

  • 192nd Central Military Plant (supplier of railway equipment)

HUR said that these facilities were hardly used by Russians in their war against Ukraine.

"There will be a just retribution for every war crime committed against Ukraine," HUR added.
