A fire broke out after Russia launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the evening of May 2, Oblast Military Administration Head, Serhiy Lysak, reported on May 3.

No casualties were initially reported.

Russian forces also attacked Nikopol with drones.

The communities of Chervonohryhorivska and Marhanetska in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast also came under fire.

Nobody was injured, Lysak said.

Kryvyi Rih residents heard an explosion the night before.

Air defense had shot down a drone, Lysak reported.

Four people were injured when Russian troops hit Nikopol with artillery and a drone on May 1.
