Mayor of Sacramento

Cofer finished the primary race with 29.25% of the vote, not too far ahead in what initially appeared to be a very tight 4-way race.

McCarty finished second with 21.55% of the vote, less than 0.3% ahead of the third-place candidate, Dr. Richard Pan and 0.6% ahead of fourth-place candidate Steve Hansen.
