It seems that J.K. Rowling has competition when it comes to expert Twitter burns in the shape of Fifty Shades author E.L. James. Luckily, though, both writers are on the same side; they’re both fighting against Piers Morgan.

Earlier this week, J.K. Rowling delivered one heck of a blow in her ongoing Twitter feud with professional rent-a-mouth and ex-British newspaper editor Piers Morgan. The Harry Potter author tricked Morgan into lambasting praise that he himself had reaped upon her, and it was EPIC.

What’s more, a bookstore has started tweeting the Potter books at Morgan after he claimed that he had read any of the popular series (something, it seems, that is an #alternativefact). Indeed, even Piers Morgans’ son got involved, proving that he, too, is a Potterhead.

Now E.L. James has become embroiled in the EPIC Twitter feud, and it’s hilarious.

The move comes after Morgan sent a tweet to James asking the erotic fiction novelist to start tweeting him lines from one of her books as “some relief from this Harry Potter crap.”

In one expert swoop, however, James decided to show Morgan that she was firmly #TeamRowling when it comes to their feud. The author replied to Morgan’s request by sharing a line from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and we can’t stop laughing.

AMAZING.

Like Rowling, it seems that E.L. James is also pretty active when it comes to commenting on social and political issues that she feels passionate about.

Looks like Piers Morgan took on more than he thought when he started warring with the literary world’s leading ladies.

Meanwhile, the second film in the Fifty Shades trilogy, Fifty Shades Darker was recently released in cinemas, and featured a special sneak peak at the third and final movie in the franchise, Fifty Shades Freed during a post-credit scene.
