February 2024: Which local restaurants received a perfect health inspection score?

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Public Health reported that it conducted 647 health inspections at locations (restaurants, grocery stores, school cafeterias, etc.) across Austin and Travis County in February, according to the agency’s public data portal.

For February, only two local restaurants earned perfect scores:

  • The Steeping Room, located at 5621 Airport Blvd.

  • Austin Tea Xchange, located at 13011 Shops Parkway in Bee Cave

Since 2021, both locations maintained health scores above 90.

Restaurants with a perfect health inspection score in January 2024

Some chain restaurants also earned perfect scores:

  • Dairy Queen, located at 12937 North FM 973 in Manor

  • Mad Greens, located at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

  • McDonald’s, located at 2426 East Riverside Drive

  • Whataburger, located at 6205 North Lamar Blvd.

  • Wendy’s, located at 5760 Airport Blvd.

Many of the 70 other locations that received perfect scores in February include educational facilities, Q2 stadium concessions and retail stores.
