Fayetteville man arrested in motel drug bust

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Fayetteville man was arrested on March 28 as part of a motel drug trafficking bust.

According to a Facebook post from the Fayetteville Police Department, police arrested Remano Fowler, 39, for trafficking a controlled substance-methamphetamine, trafficking a controlled substance-cocaine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug premise, and proximity to certain facilities.

The post says police executed a search warrant on a motel room in Fayetteville as part of an investigation of the distribution of large quantities of meth and cocaine in Northwest Arkansas.

Police say they found 4 pounds of cocaine, three 3 pounds of methamphetamine, 46 ecstasy pills, 43 alprazolam pills, six oxycodone pills, a small amount of marijuana, packaging, a digital scale and $5,880.00 cash.

According to The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Fowler is being held on a $75,000. His first hearing was on April 1.
