They were both taken to the hospital while conscious and breathing.

A third person reported they were driving in the area and heard the impact of a gunshot to his car. A bullet hit his front passenger-side door.

Neighbors in the area say they are fed up with the gun violence.

“A lot of things have been happening out here,” said Delfini Gaither. “I can’t say I go from point A to point B. I’m going to work. I’m going home. I’m dealing with my grandbabies. I’m dealing with my children as well. So, all I can do is pray, pray. Each day I leave the house and come back in.”

MPD did not have any information regarding any suspects.
