Fatal shooting investigation in High Ridge

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are investigating a fatal shooting in High Ridge on Tuesday.

According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a department spokesperson, officers were called to the 10400 block of Prince Drive around 10:45 a.m. for a shooting.

Officers found the victim, Marques Wright, suffering from a gunshot wound. Wright was taken to the hospital, where he later died. He was 45.

Panus said the investigation is still ongoing.
