In honor of First Responder Appreciation Day, first responders—firefighters, police officers, EMT/paramedic personnel, and 911-call center employees—in the Palm Beach area are being treated to a free meal at McDonald’s on Wednesday, September 27th. The offer is available at any of the 84 participating locations in Palm Beach, Martin, St.Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties, CBS 12 in West Palm Beach reports.
To redeem the offer, first responders simply present a valid badge or ID when ordering and they will be treated to a free Extra Value meal.
“We are thankful for everything our local first responders have done to kept us safe before and during Hurricane Irma, and grateful for their efforts to aid our communities during the recovery process,” said Steve Nisbet, McDonald’s owner/operator, and president of the local McDonald’s owner operator group. “We hope first responders enjoy a meal on us on for this First Responders’ Appreciation Day as a thank you for their service.”
We love the thoughtful gesture, and it’s always a good time to thank the dedicated first responders in your local community. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey and Irma, now is a particularly meaningful time for Southerners to show these servicemen and women how grateful we are.
