‘What the F*** Is Happening?’: Halle Berry on Adrien Brody’s Oscar Kiss

Halle Berry visited Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and let her lips fly about the time Adrien Brody let his lips fly live during the 2003 Oscars. Berry was asked by a viewer what was going on in her mind as Adrien Brody grabbed her and planted a very long and very unwanted kiss after he won Best Actor for The Pianist.

After asking Andy Cohen, “Can I say for real?” she emphatically said, “I was like, what the f*** is happening?!”

Berry won Best Actress the previous year for Monster’s Ball and gave a memorable speech in which she was overcome with emotion. But about that Adrien Brody kiss … she said, “Because I was there the year before and I know the feeling of being out of your body, I just f***ing went with it. But I was like, what the f*** is going on right now?”
