Ex-healthcare employee accused of recording hundreds of women without consent

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Prosecutors call a St. Charles man’s charges “deeply concerning” in a privacy case through which he is accused of recording hundreds of videos of women on his phone without receiving consent.

Timothy W. Fry, 34, is charged with six counts of Class E Felony of Invasion of Privacy in St. Charles County. Authorities say Fry recorded four women, without their knowledge, between 2021 and 2023.

Investigators say Fry used a covert recording device in bathrooms to record women, partially or fully nude, as well as recording up victim’s pants. He then played the videos on his home computer to take pictures and store them on his phone.

According to a release, Fry has hundreds of females on his phone in several locations, all unknowingly. He was allegedly an employee of BJC Healthcare, who sent FOX 2 the following statement:

“Mr. Fry’s willingness to prey on unsuspecting women in our community is deeply concerning. These are serious charges, and we will aggressively pursue prosecution,” said St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Joe McCulloch in a release.

Fry is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
