Ex-deputy arrested for inappropriate contact with inmate

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Friday, March 29, the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) announced that it had arrested a former detention deputy for having inappropriate contact with a female inmate.

Former deputy Kiki Seto, 25, turned himself in on Friday, March 29 and was taken into custody. Pueblo County Sheriff’s detectives had obtained a warrant following an investigation of an incident between Seto and a 23-year-old inmate, who is still incarcerated in the Pueblo County Jail. Seto, who started working with PCSO in April 2023, has been fired.

Seto has two felony criminal charges against him: sexual conduct in a correctional institution and introducing contraband in the second degree. He was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on Friday afternoon.

“This behavior is not reflective of the integrity and character of this agency,” said Pueblo County
Sheriff David J. Lucero. “I take these matters seriously. The safety and well-being of those
incarcerated in our jail is a high priority and any behavior that violates the trust and integrity is
unacceptable.”
