Europeans won’t be able to get one of the year’s best Android phones
The Droid Turbo is Motorola’s latest flagship device — and one of its best ones yet — but not many international buyers will be able to get their hands on one. Exclusive to Verizon in the U.S., the Droid Turbo will be sold as the Moto Maxx in certain Central and South American markets, but that doesn’t mean the handset is coming to Europe as well.

In tweets answering questions about a local potential Droid Turbo release, Motorola France revealed that the Droid Turbo won’t be launched in France, or in other European markets.
Meanwhile, the Moto Maxx will be available in various markets in Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, and other countries. That means interested buyers from other regions of the world could try to get a Moto Maxx from one of these markets in the future.
