EPISD lifts ‘hold protocol’ at Bowie High School

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Bowie High School was placed on a “hold protocol” on Friday morning, April 26 after an individual was not in compliance with visitor protocols, according to the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD).

EPISD says the school was placed on lockdown for approximately 30 minutes and has since lifted the protocol after there was no danger to the students or staff.

EPISD Police Services and campus administration are investigating the incident.

Bowie High School will operate normally and as a precaution, EPISD Police will continue to be at the school for the remainder of the day.
