Endymion parade, celebration to return to original route in 2025

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Leaders with the Super Krewe of Endymion have announced updates to the Mid-City parade route.

For the first time since 2019, the krewe announced the parade will follow its original route, which includes St. Charles Avenue.

At 4:15 p.m. on March 1, 2025, the krewe will line up and begin at the corner of City Park Avenue and Orleans Avenue, head down Orleans Avenue to the corner of North Carrollton Avenue, take a right onto Carrolton Avenue and continue to Canal Street.

From there, the parade will make a left and head down Canal Street through Mid-City to Elks Place then right and continue to Howard Avenue where it turns left and continues on Howard Avenue. The route will circle around Harmony Circle to St. Charles Avenue and travel until it reaches Poydras Street where it turns right and continues to Tchoupitoulas Street.

Finally, the parade turns right onto Tchoupitoulas Street and continues to Julia Street to the parade’s end.

The krewe adds that the Endymion Extravaganza, celebrating the 3,200-member krewe, will also return to the Caesars Superdome.

“We look forward to a safe and happy Mardi Gras for the City and for all of the guests that visit the city during Mardi Gras,” said Endymion leaders.
