Endangered Silver Advisory issued after man leaves Barnes Jewish Hospital

UPDATE: The Endangered Silver Advisory has been canceled. O’Connor was located safely, according to police.

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a man Thursday evening.

Police are looking for 68-year-old Mark O’Connor, who has dementia, respiratory illness, and other severe medical conditions, according to officials.

O’Connor left Barnes Jewish Hospital Plaza on foot around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after being discharged against medical recommendation. According to police, he has no known associates in St. Louis.

O’Connor is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and wears his hair in a ponytail. The clothing he was last seen in is unknown.

Anyone with information on O’Connor’s whereabouts is asked to contact St. Louis Metropolitan Police at 314-444-0001.
