The Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series Goes to Peter Dinklage for ‘GoT’

Just because they’re supporting doesn’t make them any less important.

Peter Dinklage won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones at tonight’s 70th annual ceremony.

The actor beat out Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for Game of Thrones (HBO), Joseph Fiennes for The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), David Harbour for Stranger Things (Netflix), Mandy Patinkin for Homeland (Showtime) and Matt Smith for The Crown (Netflix).
