One of Diddy’s mansions raided by the feds earlier this week — part of an ongoing federal sex-trafficking investigation into the rap mogul — is on Star Island, a man-made spit of land off the MacArthur Causeway in Miami Beach.
Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, pressured his staff and associates to hire prostitutes, and possibly minors, to have sex with him as he traveled across the country, according to recent civil lawsuits. Diddy’s attorney has denied those claims and the 54-year-old Harlem native has not been criminally charged.
On Monday, Homeland Security Investigations agents executed search warrants at his mansions in Los Angeles and at 2 Star Island Drive in Miami Beach. There, agents collected electronic equipment, according to a source familiar with the probe.
As agents pore over the evidence gathered from the searches, some are hearing about Star Island for the first time.
From rappers and singers to CEOs and hedge fund managers, the rich and famous call Star Island their home.
