Ellett Road reopened after crash in Montgomery County

UPDATE 11:25 P.M. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– VDOT reports Ellet Road has been reopened following a crash earlier on Thursday.

All lanes have been reopened at this time.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are encouraging drivers to avoid the Ellett Road after a crash on Thursday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred in the 1500 block of Ellett Road, near Woodrow Road.

Details remain limited; however, all lanes on Ellett Road have been blocked off. Deputies said it is unknown how long the road will be closed and crews are working to recover the vehicle and access the road.
