El Paso Fire: Body recovered from Lower Valley canal
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A body was found and recovered from a Lower Valley canal on Friday, April 5, El Paso Fire reported on its X account, formerly known as Twitter.
The water rescue operation turned body recovery happened at a canal located along the 10700 block of Socorro Road.
El Paso Fire, the Socorro Fire and the Ysleta del Pueblo Sur Fire responded to the incident, according to EPFD.
EPFD says the scene was turned over to law enforcement.
El Paso Fire said three people were reported in the water; the other two potential bodies were not found.
