Eau Claire school bus crashes on I-94

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Several Eau Claire Middle School students were hurt when their bus crashed on Interstate 94 near Hudson this morning (4/25/24). The Eau Claire School District says two student transit buses were taking Delong Middle School students to the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis on a field trip when the crash happened with the second bus.

The school district says six students, one chaperone and the bus driver had minor injuries. Two students were taken to the hospital, one with a cut lip and another for precautionary reasons.

The State Patrol is investigating the incident.
