Eastland County Sheriff’s Office honors fallen heroes on National Peace Officer Memorial Day
EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – During National Police Week, the country observes Wednesday as National Peace Officer Memorial Day. With flags flown at half-staff, the Eastland County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) made a touching memorial to honor the brave lives lost.
Sheriff Jason Weger from ECSO posted this end of watch list to celebrate the sacrifices of officers in Eastland County, Cisco, and Ranger.

Wednesday marked the 62nd year since President John F. Kennedy designated May 15 as Peace Officer Memorial Day, and the 30th year since President Bill Clinton ordered flags to be flown at half-staff.
