Easter celebration kicks off opening day for Dutch Wonderland

(WHTM)– There was great weather for opening day on Friday at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster County.

It’s the earliest the park has ever opened its doors for a season. The kingdom is putting on its “eggcellent” Easter celebration, which includes massive Easter eggs scattered around the park.

“We’re open today for our longest season ever, and we’re so excited,” marketing director Courtney Burkarth said. “It’s our second year of the excellent Easter celebration. it was a really loved event that we had with our guests and Passholders last year. So we added dates to it this year. We opened earlier than ever. We added additional entertainment and just created an even bigger experience for everyone.”

The park will be open every Saturday and Sunday in April and May.
