Easter 2024: Baton Rouge restaurants have Sunday brunch, live music

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Plan a special Easter Sunday outing by booking a reservation at a Baton Rouge restaurant.

Easter falls on Sunday, March 31 this year. The Christian holiday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Whether you’re looking for a brunch spot that is upscale or a casual outdoor patio, many restaurants in the city will be offering special menus with classic breakfast items or buffets with a wide range of food options. Some places will have live music or the Easter Bunny to take pictures with kids.

1717 KITCHEN + COCKTAILS

Enjoy a three-course brunch and live music from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a complimentary mimosa. Entrees selections include barbecue shrimp and smoked gouda grits, a hashbrown bowl, steak and eggs and chicken and waffles.

The brunch menu has herbed and garlic-crusted prime rib, smoked spiral-cut ham with glaze, sweet potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, and apple and cinnamon waffles.

An Easter brunch will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu has egg benedicts, waffles, French toast and shrimp and grits.

Brunch will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special menu items include steak and eggs, redfish sardou and chicken marsala.

City Club of Baton Rouge

Club members can enjoy a springtime brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there for photos.

The buffet menu offers a salad bar, boiled shrimp, roasted leg of lamb, smoked beef tenderloin, roasted duck breast, fish meuniere, crabcake benedict and chicken and waffles.

Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge

There will be a buffet and live music at the Patio Grille & Lounge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This breakfast and brunch spot will have a full buffet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31. There will be free Easter bunny pictures, kids’ crafts and festive cocktails.

Mansurs on the Boulevard

This fine dining restaurant in Baton Rouge will offer its holiday menu for Easter. The menu has Louisiana classics like gumbo, charbroiled oysters and shrimp and grits.
