EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has explained her lifestyle changes that she has implemented recently.

The Lauren Branning actress took part in an Instagram Stories Q&A recently, where a fan noted that she looked different lately and asked if she had done anything to achieve that.

"I really have, I will have a talk at some point but nothing drastic or too huge, just been moving so much more, trying to train three times a week, sometimes more and sometimes less and eat well," she replied.

"Honestly, my mindset had just changed in the last 8 or so months and just got so into it. I've been so much happier for it. I still have a way to go actually but I feel much better mentally."

When asked to go into more detail, Jossa said that she didn't want to go into too much detail about her exercise routine, but did state that: "I love the classes at the gym. I do say 15 minute warming up on running machine. Walking and running. Then three sets of each exercise focusing on certain body party... adding core work and cardio in between."

Back in January, Jossa spoke out about having therapy since she was 17 and strongly recommended it, explaining that she regularly suffers with anxiety.

"Sometimes I'll be in my bath and think, 'Isn't it crazy that I'm in a bath, in a bathroom, in a house, on a street, in a town, in a city, in a country, with water around me then I'm on a planet and then I'm in a galaxy.

"I worry about whether I said the wrong thing to blah blah this morning. That's probably not even thought of in their head. You worry about things that probably don't even exist in the real world.

"And I realise that I'm just a dot on this planet and there's so much more and that always brings me back down. It just makes me think, 'This too shall pass, you're going to be OK.'"

Since Lauren's return earlier this year, she's been involved in some big stories, such as an arrest, having a secret sister, and a less-than-happy reunion with her ex Peter Beale. Things are going to get more tense between them next week when he tells her he won't make her birthday due to having a date.

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
