East’s Drayden Bell hosting Wichita Kan Swim Clinic

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — University of Alabama Swimming & Diving team member Drayden Bell, who won several state titles in swimming while at East High School, is hosting Wichita Kan Swim Clinic.

“I wanted to start this clinic because It’s always been the place I called home, and it didn’t feel right for me to move to this next step in my life and not come back to show and teach the community new things like it once did for me,” said Bell.

Georgia Tech Swimming & Diving team member Ariana Dirkzwager, who also won state titles during her time at East High School and St. Louis Univeristy Simming & Diving team member Daniel Jekov, who attended The Independent School setting new records, will cohost the clinic.

NJCAA tournament is back in Hutchinson for 76th year

Swimmers can expect to learn new drills and work on technique, starts and turns.

The clinic will have four sessions from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 to June 1 at East High School, 2301 E. Douglas Ave.

Swimmers must be at least 10 years old and be able to swim 50 yards unassisted.
