Early voting for May 28 runoffs starts a week from today, two local races in Palo Pinto County

May 10—Early voting for party primary elections that went to runoffs last March begins a week from today with two Palo Pinto County posts on the ballot there.

It continues through May 24. Runoff Day is May 28.

There are no local runoffs in Parker County, but voters in both counties will select candidates in Republican and Democratic runoffs for Texas Senate District 30.

The local Palo Pinto County contests are Republican runoffs for district clerk and Precinct 1 commissioner. All four candidates in the two GOP races seek their first time in the post.

They are Hailey Storms and Nathan Choate in the clerk's race, and Richard Ralls and Mark Harrington in the runoff to be roads commissioner in the west Mineral Wells and central county precinct.

Voters in both parties will select a nominee to succeed retiring Texas Sen. Drew Springer in Senate District 30.

The two Democrats are Michael Braxton and Dale Frey. The Republicans are Brent Hagenbuch and Jace Yarbrough.
