Early morning fire damages home in Oleander

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield Fire Department raced to the scene of a structure fire in central Bakersfield early Thursday morning.

The fire broke out just before 2 a.m. on the 300 block of Holtby Road. Video from the scene shows damage to the home as firefighters doused the flames.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the investigation is ongoing.
