Elmira, N.Y. (WETM) – We dry out to end the weekend with more rain on the way for the holiday. Showers and storms will be with us on Monday with more showers continuing into midweek. More details below:

TONIGHT:

Showers and storms will still be possible for the evening. After that, we begin to dry out and clouds will decrease. It will be warmer out there with lows in the upper fifites along with a calm breeze.

SUNDAY:

We end the weekend on the drier side. Skies will be partly cloudy along with some pleasant conditions. Highs on Sunday will reach the lower eighties along with more calm conditions.

WORK WEEK:

Showers and storms will return on Memorial Day on Monday. It will be cooler out there with highs in the upper seventies. Showers will persist into Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid seventies on Tuesday and in the upper sixties on Wednesday. We dry out for Thursday. Skies will be partly cloudy out there with highs in the mid sixties. Skies will be mostly sunny for Friday to end the work week. Highs will be in the lower seventies.
