Driver trapped in wreckage more than 40 minutes

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – It took rescue crews in Cleveland more than 40 minutes to free a driver from crash wreckage.

Largest Mega Millions prize last night won in Ohio

The one-vehicle crash happened near E. 79^th Street and Platt Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.

The Cleveland Fire Department had to cut the driver out of the damaged vehicle.

Playhouse Square announces shows for 2024-2025 season

Two people were transported to nearby hospitals. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately clear and it’s not yet known what caused the crash.

Federal safety regulators have opened an investigation into Ford's hands-free driver-assistance system, BlueCruise, after it was found to be active during two recent crashes that killed multiple people.
