DRAMATIC VIDEO: Cat clinging to car door rescued from rushing flood waters
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Dubai’s government released a video showing the rescue of a cat clinging to a car door handle as flood waters rushed by.
The cat is seen holding on for dear life as a man in what appears to be a canoe passes by, picking the cat up out of the water and placing it into his watercraft.
In a social media post, Dubai’s police wrote, “Every life counts in Dubai.”
The United Arab Emirates struggled with the heaviest recorded rainfall ever to hit the desert nation, with floodwater covering portions of major highways and roads.
