Drake's feud with Kanye West just went up a notch, after Drake roasted him in lyrics on his new song - and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians rapper responded with a number of emotional videos on Instagram.

OK so before we get into the beef, let's lay the groundwork for this feud. In May 2018, Pusha T - who is signed to Kanye West's record label - released a Drake diss track, 'The Story of Adidon', which alleged that Drake had a secret son. While Drake didn't respond to the claims at the time, he later confirmed he was a father, with lyrics on his number one album Scorpion in June 2018.

Drake's producer J Prince later hinted that the only way Pusha T 'outed' Drake's secret son was because he knew about it through Kanye - who had heard it at a Scorpion listening party from March 2018. But the producer said Drake wouldn't be launching into a Kanye West diss track, because it "would've been very bad for Kanye" - which led to the viral fan theory that 'In My Feelings' is about Kim Kardashian. Are you keeping up?

ANYWAY. The latest in the feud comes after Drake released a new song with French Montana on Thursday [20 September], which contains the lyrics, "Keep it a G, I told her don't wear no 350s 'round me." FYI, Kanye's Adidas shoes are called Yeezy 350s.

SAVAGE.

Kanye responded two hours later with a series of Instagram videos, addressing everything from Pusha T's diss track of Drake, to rumours 'In My Feelings' is about his wife. Here's the full transcript:

"Now if I wasn’t in a medicated state I might have thought and had the wherewithal to say, ‘Hey Pusha, don’t diss Drake on my beat and I spoke about that and took accountability for that,'. People making rumors or thinking you f- my wife and you’re not saying nothing and carrying it like that, that don’t sit well with my spirit.

"You know, if I had a girlfriend from Chicago, her name was Renita, and you was married to Rihanna, I wouldn’t make no song called Riri. So when you’re like, ‘Ahhh I don’t know where it come from,’ you too smart for that bro. You know where that come from. Don’t make no record with nothing that can be confused."

Kanye also addressed Nick Cannon talking about his wife, hinted that Drake nearly included a lyric about Kendall and Kylie in his record, and essentially told Drake he was happy to never speak to him again.
