Downed power pole on Campostella Rd. caused road closures

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Parts of Campostella Road were closed off on Thursday due to a vehicle accident.

Campostella Road, between Hudson Street and Arbor Glen Drive, have been closed since around 7:30 a.m. because of a vehicle accident and downed power pole.

According to Chesapeake Public Works, there is currently no estimated time for reopening.

Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route while crews work to clear the road.
