Dolce & Gabbana Makes Kitchen Appliances Now, And You're Going To Be Obsessed With Everything

If you've been dying to get your hands on Smeg's "Sicily Is My Love" collection with Dolce & Gabbana, you're in luck-the bold, colorful kitchen appliances are finally out. The blender, 2-slice toaster, juicer, and tea kettle are all in stock now according to the Neiman Marcus website, and the stand mixer and 4-slice toaster are available for pre-order and expected to ship in January 2019. There are also two beautifully elaborate Dolce & Gabbana x Smeg refrigerators available, shipping by Dec. 26, 2018-you know, if you're willing to drop $50,000 on one. Following their buzzy collaboration on high-fashion refrigerators last spring, D&G and Italian home appliance company SMEG are teaming up again on a line of chic kitchen appliances. Coming in October, the "Sicily Is My Love" collection includes toasters, citrus juicers, coffee machines, kettles, blenders, stand mixers and slow juicers.
Each product pays homage to Southern Italy and features designs inspired by Sicilian folklore. Symbolic motifs include Mount Etna, ornamental friezes, decorative acanthus leaves, lemons, prickly pears and bright red cherries. There are also floral patterns that call to mind D&G's runway designs.
There's no word yet on prices but considering the refrigerators went for $34,000 a piece ...you can bet this will be expensive.
But, just look at this gorgeous stand mixer!!
