Dobyns-Bennett stays unbeaten while Lady Topper Meeks tosses a perfect game
Sullivan Co. — Time for some high school baseball Dobyn’s-Bennett hosting West Ridge at J. Fred where in the bottom of the second with the Tribe’s Tegan Begley at the plate …. he hits one to leftfield allowing Kasey Carter and Maddox Martin to come home it was 4-zip.
Wolves bite back, top of the fourth Kade Oliver finds a spot in leftfield for the single, he would be left stranded on base. Bottom of the fourth, Indians Andrew Reilly smacked this ball over the right fence for a home run it was a 2-run shot that made the score 6-0.
Later in the game Wolves will get on the board but the Tribe holds out with an 8-3 victory.

Meanwhile, the West Ridge Lady Wolves were home hosting the Science Hill Lady Hilltoppers and in the bottom of the 2nd Toppers up by 6 following a 3-run bome by Maddie Diamond and the topper’s Isabel Meeks on the mound strikes out Nila Horne.
Later, in the bottom of the third Meeks continued her perfect night with no hits, no runs, and 12 k’s. At the top of the fourth, Meeks up to bat and hit a grounder to first where it bobbled it allowing Malia Marakus and Diamond to race home to make the score 8-0
It was all Toppers with a 9-0 win following a perfect game by Meeks
